01 Zagreb, after hours

Hello! It’s Tomo, creative señor developer.

I build interfaces, real-time 3D and the motion in between. This is the garage where it happens — come in.

Opening the door…

02 About

Cars, hardware and things that work.

Based in Croatia, Zagreb. Interested in cars, hardware and productivity. Passionate for technology, UI, and three-dimensional web applications. Inspired by efficiency, and open-source software.

That’s a 1980s VW Caddy, Typ 14D. Modelled in Blender, it’s also drivable — keep scrolling.

03 Selected work

On the bench.

  1. Bornfight Studio’s own site. A 3D logo up front, the studio’s client work underneath, and the email address running down the margin, always in reach.

  2. Darko Pašalić’s film photography — Nikon FM2, Mamiya 645, Portra and HP5. Browse it by mood, time of day or colour, in a dark room or a light one.

darc-room.com (opens in a new tab)
  3. 33 interactive installations for the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre in Kuwait, one of the largest museums in the world — from RFID oil-prospecting maps to a disaster early-warning desk.

  4. Electric hypercars from Croatia. The Nevera and Nevera R, the tech Rimac builds for other carmakers, and how a hypercar gets developed — four chapters, full-bleed.

  5. Draw a pine, plant it in a shared 3D forest, donate, and a real one goes into the fire-scarred hills of Dalmatia. Croatia’s largest volunteer reforestation campaign.

boranka.hr (opens in a new tab)
  6. The agency’s own site: a product studio with no project managers, behind World, Jellybean and Nolla. It opens on the office itself, on film.

flabbergast.agency (opens in a new tab)
  7. Split a recovery phrase into encrypted shares held by friends — any three of five bring it back. No servers, no account. The site takes the card apart, share by share, as you scroll.

04 Approach

Every tool has a hook.

Interfaces
Semantic HTML first, then React, Next.js, Astro, Vue or Web Components — whatever the job needs.
Real-time 3D
Three.js, WebGL and WebGPU, TSL and shaders. Blender if needed — though I’m a developer first, not a 3D artist, as this garage will happily prove.
Motion
GSAP timelines, scroll and transitions that explain where things come from — and knowing when to stop.
Details
Performance, accessibility, loading states, the console, the 404 page.

HTML5 · ES6 · React · Next.js · Astro · Vue · Web Components · Tailwind CSS · S(CSS) · shadcn · Three.js · WebGL · WebGPU · GSAP
